Cuna del Ángel: Sustainability

In view of tourism development in recent decades, Cuna del Angel Hotel has been obliged to participate in sustainable natural enrichment processes, social and economic part of this initiative will be undertaken through the implementation of sustainability certification Tourist granted by the Costa Rican Tourism Institute, which evaluates four key areas, among them: biological physical environment, plant service, external customer and socio-economic environment. 

As part of this initiative we have decided to be active members of the Network Recycle South Pacific, where we involve our employees and guests in the process of classification and selection of waste, we have a mini collection center for recyclable materials and composting of worms for organic waste. . We also work hand in hand with the sponsors of the Recycling Network (Fundación Corcovado) on environmental education programs in area schools. 

We've done beach clean campaigns with the help of Terra Nostra and are currently in the process of implementing Blue Flag in Playa Hermosa.  Biodigestors also available for the treatment of sewage which are deposited in a wetland (biojardineras) 

These and many other initiatives we implement in order to be a Hotel that not only offers excellent service, but which carry high social and environmental responsibility and of course be a very good example of many other hotels.
